Get creative with Thanksgiving Holiday crafts! Children ages three to 10 can enjoy an afternoon of free hands-on activities to celebrate the fall season.

TRICK or TREE Community Tree Planting at Sesquicentennial Park
Put on your favourite Halloween costume and help grow Brampton’s urban forest! Join the City of Brampton’s Parks and Forestry team and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for a fun community tree planting. Come dressed in costume for a chance to win a prize.

The event will take place rain or shine. Participants should dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes and bring their own work gloves. Limited additional supplies will be available.

Inclusive Halloween Dance
Costumes, music and Halloween memories await. Teens and adults (14+) living with disabilities are invited to Brampton’s Inclusive Halloween Dinner and Dance, generously sponsored by 407 ETR. Dress up, dine and dance the night away with friends and our community.

Fall fun is brewing! Packed with themed attractions, thrilling entertainment, ghoulish dancing and family fun. Admission is free with a food bank donation.

Brampton Transit
Brampton Transit will be operating on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Monday, October 12. Customer Service counters at the terminals will be closed. Clark and Sandalwood Facilities, including Lost and Found, will be closed. The Contact Centre will be available to assist from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 905.874.2999. Brampton Parks
All City trails, playgrounds and parks, including off-leash dog parks, remain open throughout the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Visit brampton.ca/parks to explore the more than 870 parks and recreational trails in Brampton.
Brampton Recreation
Select Recreation Centres will be open with modified holiday hours and splash pads will be closed for the season on Monday, October 12. There will be no registered programs on Monday, October 12. Residents are encouraged to check their registration receipt for exclusion dates and visit brampton.ca/holidayhours for holiday hours, program listings and facility information.
Brampton Library
All Brampton Library branches will be closed on Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving. Stop in during branch hours of

Brampton Animal Services
The Brampton
Animal Shelter will be closed on Monday, October 12. Animal Services officers will be on the road for patrol and will continue to respond to emergency calls after hours.
