​​​​​BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton is inviting residents to participate in two upcoming telephone town halls with Mayor Patrick Brown, members of Council and community partners. 

These sessions will provide residents with an opportunity to hear updates on important issues, share feedback and ask questions, directly contributing to discussions that shape Brampton’s future. Over the past five years, the City has connected with approximately 154,000 participants through these events. 

Save the date | Community Safety Telephone Town Hall: Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 7 pm 

Learn how the City of Brampton and Peel Regional Police are working together to keep the community safe and share your feedback at the Community Safety Telephone Town Hall. Mayor Patrick Brown and members of Council will be joined by Chief Nishan Duraiappah and Deputy Chiefs of Peel Regional Police to provide updates on key community safety initiatives, discuss current priorities and answer questions directly from residents. 

Save the date | Health Care Telephone Town Hall: Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 7 pm 

Get updates on the state of health care in Brampton, ongoing efforts to expand local health services and how different levels of the health system are working together to support the health and well-being of residents during the telephone town hall on health care. The City will be joined by Dr. Mohamed Lachemi, President and Vice-Chancellor of Toronto Metropolitan University and Dr. Frank Martino, President and Chief Executive Officer of William Osler Health System.

How to participate 

To register to receive a call to participate in the telephone town halls, visit brampton.ca/engage. Registration closes at 12 pm on the day of the telephone town halls.

Residents can also participate by joining online​. The link for the telephone town hall will open five minutes before the start time. During the telephone town halls, residents will have the opportunity to participate in live poll questions and take part in a question-and-answer segment.
