The 2026 series continues to strengthen neighbourhood-level engagement by offering accessible meeting venues in familiar environments for residents who may not otherwise participate in City processes. Hosting sessions within the community has also created stronger opportunities for relationship-building between residents, Council members and partner agencies, supporting meaningful dialogue and helping the committee identify emerging issues directly from the community.

These sessions provide residents with an opportunity to hear directly from City officials, local agencies and community partners about current community safety initiatives and issues affecting Brampton neighbourhoods. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their experiences, concerns and ideas with committee members.

Input gathered during these meetings helps inform ongoing discussions and recommendations related to community safety priorities in Brampton. This includes helping the committee provide advice that reflects real, on-the-ground experiences. These meetings also give residents a chance to stay informed and engaged on matters affecting their neighbourhoods.

BCSAC meetings are open to the public. Residents can request permission to delegate at a meeting by submitting a Delegation Request Form before the meeting. There will also be an opportunity for residents to ask questions without prior registration, following the presentations.

About the Brampton Community Safety Advisory Committee

The Brampton Community Safety Advisory Committee (BCSAC) aims to raise awareness, advise and plan meaningful actions on matters related to community safety, while serving as a resource to City Council.
