Brampton Transit mask mandate extended to June 11

BRAMPTON, ON (April 25, 2022) – In line with the Government of Ontario regulations announced April 22, the City of Brampton will extend the mask mandate on Brampton Transit buses and inside terminals from April 27 to midnight on June 11. Riders will be required to continue wearing masks on transit buses and inside transit terminals.

Riders are reminded that masks are required to cover their mouth, chin and nose. Riders are also reminded to stay safe and help protect others by carrying hand sanitizer, washing their hands frequently and to stay home and not travel if feeling unwell.

The health and safety of our passengers and staff is a top priority. The City of Brampton is working closely with its partners at Peel Public Health, the Government of Ontario, and the Brampton Emergency Management Office to continue to monitor risks.
