COVID-19 safety measures
As we continue to navigate COVID-19, we aim to provide the best service possible prioritizing rider and employee health and safety. Although the stay at home order has ended, COVID-19 remains in our community and we must remain vigilant, adhering to the guidelines provided by Peel Public Health. Service may be impacted and cancellations could occur, so we appreciate your patience during this time.

When travelling, wear a tight-fitting mask on the bus and at terminals, and avoid lowering your mask for eating or drinking while commuting unless it is a medical emergency. Keep yourself and others safe by using hand sanitizer, washing your hands frequently, and practising physical distancing.

An enhanced cleaning and sanitizing schedule remains in effect. It is Brampton Transit’s goal to disinfect all hard surfaces, operator compartments and seats every 48 hours. The majority of buses are currently sanitized every 24 hours. Facilities and terminals that have hard surfaces are wiped down and sanitized on a daily basis.

The City of Brampton is working closely with its partners at Peel Public Health, the Government of Ontario, and the Brampton Emergency Management Office to continue to monitor risks.
