Masks mandatory at Brampton’s outdoor skating rinks, effective January 27

BRAMPTON, ON (January 27, 2021) – On January 27, Brampton City Council unanimously approved a motion to implement mandatory masks at Brampton’s outdoor skating rinks, effective today, January 27.

Non-medical masks or face coverings are now mandatory on the ice at all of the City’s eight outdoor rinks for all participants over ten years of age.

Participants of all ages continue to be required to wear a non-medical mask or face covering in all other
areas of the outdoor skating enclosure. This includes while waiting in line, in washrooms, staging areas, and all common areas.

Community health and safety is the City’s main priority, especially during COVID-19. For rink locations, status, booking information and more, please visit www.brampton.ca/outdoorskating.
