Nearly $80 million in donations and pledges raised through Hockey Night over five years in support of local health care
BRAMPTON, ON (August 20, 2026) – Hockey stars, legends and thousands of fans came together at the CAA Centre last night for an unforgettable Hockey Night in Brampton, raising $2,525,000 in support of William Osler Health System Foundation and Brampton’s second hospital. Team Messier, coached by Gary Roberts and Coach Chippy, and Team Rielly, coached by Wendel Clark and Paul Coffey, went head-to-head in a high-energy charity game that brought together hockey, community and an important cause.

With this year’s fundraising total, Hockey Night in Brampton has now raised nearly $80 million in support of Brampton’s second hospital, continuing the event’s incredible momentum and helping expand access to health care for Brampton’s growing community.
The 2026 lineup brought together some of the biggest names in hockey, including NHL stars and rising talent Dylan Strome, Owen Power, Peter Holland, Michael Misa, Pavel Mintyukov and Stephen Halliday, alongside Mark Giordano, Nikolai Borschevsky, Kirk Muller, Curtis Joseph, Ryan Getzlaf, Joe Kocur, Kris Versteeg, Cody Hodgson, PWHL stars Emily Clark and Jaime Bourbonnais, and more!

More than a game
The excitement extended beyond the action on the ice, with fans getting the chance to meet hockey legends during two pre-game autograph sessions presented by 407 ETR, featuring Paul Coffey, Ryan Getzlaf, Joe Kocur, Wendel Clark, Doug Gilmour and Gary Roberts.

During intermission, renowned stickhandling specialist and Canadian national athlete Pavel Barber took centre ice for a live skills challenge, while Canadian sports broadcaster Rod Black returned as event host.
