BRAMPTON, ON (June 25, 2026) – The Rose is celebrating 20 years as a stage for unforgettable moments, artistic discovery and community pride with the launch of its 2026–2027 season.

​Since opening its doors in September 2006, The Rose has welcomed world-renowned artists, nurtured local talent, hosted milestone community celebrations and created memories shared across generations of Brampton residents. What began as a bold vision for downtown Brampton has grown into one of the city's premier cultural destinations and a defining part of Brampton’s arts and culture scene.

The anniversary season is guided by the theme Roots. Blossom. Bloom., reflecting on where The Rose began, how it has evolved alongside Brampton and the future it continues to help shape.

20 Years in Bloom

As part of the celebration, The Rose will host 20 Years in Bloom on September 19, a free community event featuring live performances, backstage experiences, family activities, local artisans and special guests. The event will honour the artists, audiences, volunteers, donors, sponsors, staff and community partners whose passion, creativity and support have shaped The Rose’s story over the past two decades.

Anniversary season highlights

Throughout the season, audiences will experience a lineup rooted in The Rose’s legacy while looking ahead to its next chapter. Internationally acclaimed artists including Jeremy Jordan, Natalie MacMaster and Mary Frances, Susan Aglukark, Gowan, and Pavlo will share the stage alongside local artists, emerging creators and community partners who continue to define Brampton's creative identity.

The season also showcases the partnerships central to The Rose’s success, including the 10th anniversary of the World of Jazz Festival, the return of Flow Fest to long-standing collaborations with organizations including The Rose Orchestra, Brampton Concert Band, Brampton Music Theatre, The Hive Performing Arts, Zamar Music Inc., and This Is Brampton. These creative partnerships spotlight the range of artistic voices in Brampton and invite audiences to experience the city’s culture in new ways.

Families can look forward to performances and experiences including Splash'N Boots, 360 ALLSTARS, Meet the Hatter, March Break at The Rose and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's Symphonic Singalong. Audiences seeking something different can explore immersive and site-specific experiences such as Don't Touch the Art, Cosmic Odyssey and Solstice: A Winter Circus Experience.

Tickets and memberships

Tickets go on sale to the public on June 26, at 12 p.m. 

Encore Memberships are $10 per year and provide early access to tickets beginning June 25 at 12 p.m. Earn points toward complimentary tickets and access to special offers and exclusive member opportunities.

The Rose is Brampton’s premier destination for live performing arts and is part of a network of City-operated venues that includes Lester B. Pearson Theatre, Cyril Clark and Garden Square.
