Recreation Revitalized | Gore Meadows East Community Park
This next phase in the development of Gore Meadows Community Centre will complement and expand the amenities already offered at the Gore Meadows Community Centre and Library, a cornerstone of northeast Brampton offering aquatic, fitness and library services. Together, the indoor and outdoor facilities will form one of Brampton’s largest recreation destinations, offering year-round opportunities for sports, leisure and community connection. Once completed, the new park will feature:
- Premier and community cricket pitches
- Junior soccer fields
- Domed racket facilities (i.e., paddleball, pickleball, tennis)
- Skatepark
- Playground with shade structures
- Skating trails
- Naturalized environmental areas
- Fitness and cycling paths
- Picnic zones
- Comfort stations
These features will expand outdoor recreation options for residents of all ages and abilities, ensuring the community has accessible, inclusive and modern spaces to support active living and healthy lifestyles. With construction now underway, the project is anticipated to be completed in fall 2026.
