Now in its fourth year, the all-star charity hockey game supports the William Osler Health System Foundation, with proceeds helping fund Brampton’s second hospital at the Peel Memorial site. This signature event continues to rally the community around greater access to health care in Brampton.
2025 Lineup Announcements
Hockey Night in Brampton 2025 welcomes Curtis Joseph, one of the most iconic goaltenders in NHL history, to this year’s all-star lineup. Joseph joins Norris Trophy winner Mark Giordano, along with returning players Dylan Strome, Liam Foudy, Erik Gudbranson and Jack McBain. With more players soon to be announced, fans can look forward to another exciting night of hockey in support of health care in Brampton.
In 2024, the event raised a record-breaking $14 million, making it the largest charity hockey game in Canadian history. Tickets are now on sale for $25 at hockeynightbrampton.ca.

Player Profiles
Curtis Joseph
Curtis Joseph is a former NHL goaltender, whose 19-season career included time with the St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Phoenix Coyotes and Calgary Flames. Undrafted out of college, he signed with the Blues in 1989 and went on to become one of the best goaltenders in NHL history, with 454 career wins. Known for his fierce style of play and iconic Cujo mask, he was a three-time NHL All-Star and represented Canada internationally, winning gold at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Mark Giordano
Mark Giordano began his NHL career with the Calgary Flames in 2006, eventually serving as team captain for eight seasons and becoming one of the league’s most respected defencemen. In 2021, he was selected by the Seattle Kraken in the NHL Expansion Draft and named the franchise’s first-ever captain. He was later traded to his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs in 2022, where he most recently played. Internationally, Giordano represented Canada at the 2010 IIHF World Championship, leading all defencemen in scoring. Off the ice, he and his wife Lauren have led several community initiatives, including the “5-for-5” program with Habitat for Humanity and the Team Giordano Project. His leadership and commitment to the game and community have earned him numerous honours, including the NHL Foundation Player Award (2016), Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award (2017), James Norris Memorial Trophy (2019) and the Mark Messier Leadership Award (2020).
Dylan Strome
Drafted third overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2015 NHL Draft, began his NHL career with the Coyotes before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in November 2018. He excelled with the Blackhawks, recording 51 points (17 goals, 34 assists) in 58 games during his first season. Over the next few seasons, he continued to contribute despite injuries, amassing 38 points in 2019-20 and 17 points in the shortened 2020-21 season. In 2022, Strome signed with the Washington Capitals, aiming to take on a more prominent role. Known for his playmaking skills and vision, Strome's career highlights include his impressive debut season with Chicago and his consistent offensive contributions.
Liam Foudy
Drafted 18th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2018 NHL Draft, is a dynamic forward known for his speed and versatility. Foudy made his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season and quickly made an impact, scoring his first NHL goal in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs and helping the Blue Jackets reach the second round. He has also excelled internationally, winning a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship. Foudy continues to develop his game with the Blue Jackets, contributing both offensively and defensively as a key player in their lineup.
Erik Gudbranson
Drafted third overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2010 NHL Draft, is a physical defenseman known for his toughness and leadership. Over his career, Gudbranson has played for multiple teams, including the Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators, Nashville Predators, and Calgary Flames. His career highlights include being named an alternate captain for the Panthers and reaching the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the Penguins and Flames. Gudbranson's contributions extend beyond his defensive play, providing veteran presence and stability to each team's blue line.
Jack McBain
Drafted 63rd overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2018 NHL Draft, is a promising forward known for his size and two-way play. After a successful collegiate career at Boston College, where he was a standout player and a Hobey Baker Award nominee, McBain made his NHL debut with the Arizona Coyotes in the 2021-22 season following a trade from the Wild. His career highlights include being named to the Hockey East All-Star team and representing Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics, where he contributed to the team's success. McBain's combination of physicality and skill makes him a valuable player for the Coyotes as he continues to grow in the NHL.
