With 22 actions aligned to six key priorities, the Strategy will guide the City’s efforts over the next five years to better connect, support and inspire youth across Brampton.

How it came together

In 2024, the City partnered with REVIVE Strategies to lead a full refresh of its previous youth engagement strategy. Youth input was gathered through online and in-person surveys, community pop-up events, focus groups and a dedicated Youth Advisory Circle. The result is a Strategy that directly reflects the priorities and lived experiences of Brampton youth.

Next steps

With Council endorsement in place, the City is moving into the implementation phase. This includes developing a five-year work plan and establishing a new Brampton Youth Cabinet to support ongoing engagement and leadership development.
