BRAMPTON, ON (May 23, 2025) – The City of Brampton proudly celebrates Portuguese, Filipino and Italian Heritage Months this June, recognizing the meaningful contributions of these vibrant communities to Brampton’s cultural landscape.

Throughout the month, residents are invited to take part in a series of events that honour the traditions, achievements and heritage of Portuguese, Filipino and Italian Canadians. From music and cultural performances to flag raisings and traditional cuisine, each celebration offers a chance to experience and learn about the cultures that continue to shape Brampton.

Presented through the City’s Tourism Sponsorship Program, the Lusofonia Festival features live music, performances, gastronomy and a handicraft fair.
