BRAMPTON, ON (August 15, 2023) – Beginning today, the City of Brampton is seeking feedback from Brampton residents, artists, cultural workers, organizations, and creative businesses to determine the size, scope, and offerings for a future Arts Centre in Brampton. Located at the Flower City Community Campus, once open, the Centre will be a dedicated space for the community to create, present, and experience creative works.

On March 9, 2023, City Council passed a motion to build a new arts centre to expand the available amount of creative spaces that support and showcase Brampton’s growing arts, culture and creative industries.

As a part of developing the new Centre for the Arts, individuals are encouraged to share big ideas for the centre by attending a community pop-up, virtual workshop or participating in an online survey.
