The Rose Brampton announces its winter/spring 2022 season featuring concerts, musical theatre, special events and more!

BRAMPTON, ON (December 2, 2021) – The Rose Brampton presents its winter/spring 2022 season running from January to April 2022. Comprised of two major series’, The Rose Presents and This is Brampton, the lineup is full of exciting entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

This season, The Rose Presents features celebrated musicians, Canadian legends, and world-renowned theatre and cirque, including:
  • Tom Cochrane, one of Canada’s most beloved rock stars,
  • The Washboard Union, three-time reigning CCMA Group of the Year,
  • The Original Wailers, continuing the legacy of Bob Marley,
  • Johnny Reid, six-time JUNO Award winning singer-songwriter, 2022 GRAMMY Award nominee, and Brampton Arts Walk of Fame recipient, 
  • Bernadette Peters, Broadway’s brightest star, and GRAMMY Award winner,
  • Paul Reiser, one of Comedy Central’s Top 100 Comedians of all Time,
  • Dwayne Gretzky, Canada’s reigning champions of nostalgia,
  • 6 Guitars, a pitch-perfect blend of music and comedy,
  • The Mush Hole, a profound reflection of the Mohawk Institute Residential School experience, presented by Kaha:wi Dance Theatre,
  • And so much more!

The Rose is committed to highlighting local artists and partnering with community organizations to reflect, foster and celebrate Brampton’s talent. Co-presentation partners include The Rose Orchestra, Brampton Concert Band, and Brampton Music Theatre.

This is Brampton returns to Studio II, providing an intimate and up-close platform for Brampton’s phenomenal talent, as well as an opportunity for artistic development. Curators of the series include B-Jazzed, off the record, Stand-Up Stitches, Soundrive Records, Spades Media, Brampton Folk Club, and Johnny Rivex.
