“Thank you to our community for their efforts in helping us get to this stage. We have continued to follow the advice of our public health experts through focusing on a cautious phased reopening and reintroduction of in-person services. While this is a new reality for us all, we are working to make this a safe and seamless transition for everyone.”
- Patrick Brown, Mayor, City of Brampton

“Through our Reopening Survey, we heard that 70% of residents wanted the City to provide as many online services as possible. From building permits, events, to public consultation, we have pivoted to offer safer online options for our community and businesses. We will continue to prioritize finding new ways of doing business that are safe, accessible and convenient as we continue our gradual reopening.”

“Over the past few months, staff have been preparing our facilities for a safe reopening. We have introduced physical distancing measures, enhanced cleaning processes, a daily active screening for all employees and promoted remote work access. All of these efforts ensure we are keeping in line with public health guidelines without compromising on the service we provide our community.”
