Virtual Press Conference: City of Brampton update on response to COVID-19

Mayor Patrick Brown, Michael Palleschi, Regional Councillor, Wards 2 & 6; Alex Milojevic, General Manager, Brampton Transit; Dr. Lawrence Loh, Interim Medical Officer of Health, Region of Peel; and Nishan Duraiappah, Chief, Peel Regional Police will provide an update on the City’s response to the COVID-19 emergency, including event cancellations, new initiatives supporting the Economic Recovery Strategy, use of non-medical masks on transit, eliminating illegal street racing during COVID-19, the status of COVID-19 in Peel and charges laid under the City’s new Brampton COVID-19 Emergency Measures By-law.
