City Brampton announces Mayor’s COVID-19 Seniors Support Task Force

BRAMPTON, ON (March 18, 2020) – Today, the City of Brampton announced its third specialized task force to support the local economy and vulnerable communities: the Mayor’s COVID-19 Seniors Support Task Force.

Co-Chaired by Pat Fortini, Regional Councillor, Wards 7 and 8, and Gurpreet Dhillon, Regional Councillor, Wards 9 and 10, this specialized team will help coordinate access to information and resources that Brampton’s senior citizens need most during this time.

This group will work closely with the City of Brampton Emergency Operations Centre and City staff managing effective response to get ahead of COVID-19.

Today’s announcement follows yesterday’s launch of the Mayor’s COVID-19 Economic Support and Recovery and Social Support Task Forces. Read more on this here.
