City launches milestone new 311 app for easier and quicker customer service

BRAMPTON, ON (December 18, 2019) – The City of Brampton is making it easier to access municipal services and information with a new Brampton 311 mobile app and website,311Brampton.ca. Residents are now able to reach Service Brampton quickly and easily through their smartphone, online, or by calling 311. Customer service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in over 150 languages.

The app and online requests provide easy mobile access to information, submissions and request tracking for:
  • Parking services and mobile licensing
  • Property concerns and municipal enforcement
  • Litter and graffiti
  • Parks and trails
  • Roads and sidewalks and snow clearing
  • Signs and streetlights
  • Tree services

The app offers the added benefit of being able to take a photo and include that with the service request. A mapping function is also included to aid in pinpointing the location of the concern.

The new website and app offer a user-friendly interface with the following features:

  • Knowledge base with information about City services and links to relevant webpages
  • Search function for knowledge base and service request options
  • Ability to directly submit requests for service and report issues
  • Tracking number so the user can obtain follow-up information on their report/request
  • Option to be notified by email when a service request is updated with new information

The Brampton 311 app is available for download now on Google Play and the App Store. It is compatible with iPhone and Android devices (minimum iOS 9.3.6 or Android 8.1). Visit the new website at 311Brampton.ca.
