​BRAMPTON, ON (September 20, 2019) – Ahead of the 2019 Canadian federal election, the City of Brampton is hosting local candidates at a town hall on October 9 to discuss the issues that matter most to residents.

The event is open to the public and will take place at 7 pm at the Rose Theatre. As seating is limited, residents are asked to register online on the Rose Theatre's website. The event will also be streamed live on Facebook.

By 2041, Brampton is expected to have more than 900,000 residents. Being one of Canada’s youngest and fastest-growing cities, balancing growth with public expectations is both a challenge and an opportunity. Through strengthening its partnerships with higher levels of government, the City of Brampton aims to advance projects that will have a long-lasting economic impact, create jobs, and improve community pride and quality of life for our residents.
