Celebrate Culture Days in Brampton

BRAMPTON, ON – Get creative, meet local artists, and learn about arts and culture in Brampton at Culture Days, September 28-30. The City of Brampton, Brampton Library, PAMA, and the creative community will host a series of free public events, performances and workshops to celebrate the city’s vibrant and diverse cultural community.

Experience music, dance, poetry, visual art, cultural demonstrations and more at locations across the city. Residents are encouraged to connect with local artists and participate in hands-on activities for the whole family. Visit brampton.ca/culturedays for a full event listing.

As part of Culture Days this year, Brampton will unveil a new public art installation, commissioned last year in honour of the 150th anniversary of Alderlea. Artist Tim desClouds has created a sculpture in the form of a metal bench, entitled For the Love of a House, which will be located on the grounds of the historic mansion. The artist will be on hand for the official unveiling on September 29 at 11 am.
