Celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day | Thursday, June 21 ∙ Garden Square

BRAMPTON, ON: Celebrate the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis when the City of Brampton partners with the Peel Aboriginal Network to celebrate this special day in Garden Square, downtown Brampton.

 

Brampton’s National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations will feature performances, dances, spirited teachings, and a number of educational components. The day will highlight the rich history of Indigenous peoples in Peel Region and build understanding within our community. Enjoy an opening ceremony, men’s and women’s traditional and contemporary dances, live music, readings, and opportunities to be a part of the festivities.
