BRAMPTON, ON: Brampton residents are invited to come together in Garden Square to watch as the CBC and The Tragically Hip present “The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration” on August 20, from 8:30-11:30 pm.
This exciting concert, part of the band’s Man Machine Poem tour, will be broadcast live on CBC, and the City of Brampton has secured the rights to show it on the big screen at the corner of Main and Queen Streets.
This viewing will be free to the public. Seating is limited – be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
Please note that the regularly scheduled 5 pm movie, Frozen, will be shown as planned. However, the 8 pm showing of Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be cancelled.
