Brampton On Stage’s Lifelong Learning program introduces new arts education initiatives for people of all ages

BRAMPTON, ON (September 14, 2023) – Starting this fall, Brampton On Stage is introducing three programs to support people of all ages as they explore and improve their artistic skills. By participating in Arts Inside, the Performing Art Education Conference, or Audition Intensive, participants of any skill level will have the opportunity to learn from professionals in the sector, share experiences, build new skills, and expand their networks.

About Arts Inside

Introducing Arts Inside, a new monthly performing arts workshop series for adults led by professional artists for anyone interested in the performing arts. Explore acting, poetry, singing, creative writing, dancing, digital storytelling, or live looping. Each month will provide new and exciting options to challenge creativity. No previous experience is necessary — just an open mind and the willingness to try something new in a safe space.

About Performing Arts Education Conference

Brampton On Stage's first annual Performing Arts Education Conference focuses on tools and strategies to bring texts alive in the classroom. Taking inspiration from the concurrently running production of Hamlet, running from October 12 to 18 at The Rose, participants have the option of including a ticket to the October 12 opening night performance with their registration. The conference is appropriate for teachers at all levels, including those focused on English and Drama, partnering arts organization staff, and artist-educators.

About Audition Intensive

Brampton On Stage is once again offering a masterclass in auditioning that is now open to everyone. Led by industry professionals, this program will help develop confidence and skills in auditioning over four sessions. This workshop series will leave participants feeling confident and prepared to handle their upcoming auditions. Applications are now open,   and anyone interested is encouraged to apply by Monday, October 2, 2023.
