Youth Hub opens at Susan Fennell Sportsplex

The City of Brampton’s Youth Hub is now open at the Susan Fennell Sportsplex.

The Youth Hub at the Susan Fennell Sportsplex offers a safe and inclusive space for young people to access programming and supports, all while building meaningful friendships and connections.

The dedicated space includes a variety of unstructured spaces to allow youth to freely socialize and connect. Other amenities include an eSports area, sponsored by Sheridan College, a creative space, ideation rooms, and a lounge area.

This space will add to the growing amenities available for young people within the City of Brampton, creating safe, inclusive and supportive communities. This Youth Hub at the Susan Fennell Sportsplex is a true collaborative effort, with investments made by federal, provincial and regional partners.

To make sure the Youth Hub was created to serve the needs of youth, the City of Brampton launched an extensive consultation with youth and youth service providers to obtain input on how to design and program these spaces.
