Ren’s Pets partners with the City of Brampton for dog and cat licensing program

Brampton, ON (January 28, 2023) – Ren’s Pets, a leading Canadian specialty retailer of pet food and supplies, has partnered with the City of Brampton to support its dog and cat licensing program. Residents of Brampton will now receive a $20 voucher to shop at Ren’s Pets when they register their dog or cat and purchase their annual licence for their pet with Brampton Animal Services.

Under the municipal Animal Control By-laws, all dogs and cats in Brampton must be licensed with the City each calendar year. Residents can license pets online, in-person, by telephone or by mail. For pricing and full details, visit www.brampton.ca/animalservices

“We’re excited to partner with the City of Brampton on this program to support responsible pet ownership,” said Ren’s Pets CEO Scott Arsenault. “Ren’s is committed to building meaningful partnerships with local communities like this one in Brampton, so pets can live their best lives. We opened our Brampton store July 18, 2021 and have met some incredible, passionate pet parents with amazing pets from the area.”

“The City of Brampton is thrilled to add Ren’s Pets as one of their licensing partners.  Our continued goal is to reward our community’s dog and cat owners when they purchase or renew their licences for 2023,” said Mike Mulick, Animal Services Manager for the City of Brampton. “Go online to purchase your licence today, it’s the responsible thing to do.”

“This is a really wonderful benefit for pet parents licensing their dogs and cats in Brampton,” shares Larissa Wasyliw, VP of Ecommerce & Marketing at Ren’s Pets. “The $20 voucher can be used at Ren’s for food, treats, toys, or more for their pets. Ren’s carries the best, highest quality premium brands and widest assortment of everything you need for your dog and cat, especially when it comes to what they eat, whether that be dry, wet, or raw food. It’s great that people will be able to enjoy something from Ren’s while being responsible pet parents and getting their dogs licensed as well.”
