City launching basketball and ultimate Frisbee adult leagues at Save Max Sports Centre

​BRAMPTON, ON (July 22, 2022) – Calling all Brampton sports enthusiasts! The City of Brampton is launching adult sports leagues at Save Max Sports Centre.

This fall, residents 18 and over can register to play basketball and ultimate Frisbee. Individuals can join the league as part of an already assembled team or individually as free agents. All games will be played at Save Max Sports Centre at Dixie Road and Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton.

Basketball 
The fall league will run from September 21 to December 14 with registration opening on August 1. The suggested team roster is nine to 12 players. All registered players will receive a reversible jersey for “home” and “away” games. All gameplay is officiated by Ontario Association of Basketball Officials.

Ultimate Frisbee 
The fall league will run from October 13 to December 15 with registration opening on August 1. The suggested team roster is nine to 11 players. Games are not officiated. All registered players will receive a reversible jersey for “home” and “away” games.
