Brampton Farmers’ Market kicks off June 11

​BRAMPTON, ON (May 26, 2022) – The City of Brampton’s annual Farmers’ Market, presented by Meridian Credit Union, returns for the 2022 season beginning on June 11. This weekly event will run every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 8, rain or shine. This year, the beloved event will be located on Wellington Street between George Street and Main Street South, and in Gage Park.

This season promises a weekly event everyone is sure to enjoy that includes:

  • The return of the market’s favourite farmers, vendors and local artisans offering fresh produce and handmade-goods;
  • Live entertainment on the bandstand from the Brampton Folk Club, B-Jazzed, DJ Jonathan Shaw and more;
  • On-site art activations from the City of Brampton’s Arts, Culture and Creative Industry Development Agency (ACCIDA); and
  • So much more!

Transformation underway in Downtown Brampton
Downtown Brampton is undergoing a transformation. The Region of Peel is leading a project to replace watermain and sanitary sewers in the area. As a result there are several road closures in effect. Please plan ahead when heading to the market.
