City launches its first Explore Brampton Youth Pass

New pass to provide free fares on Brampton Transit, free access to select Brampton Recreation programs for Brampton youth

BRAMPTON, ON (May 19, 2022) – The City of Brampton has launched its Explore Brampton Youth Pass pilot program.

With this pass, youth aged 12 to 16 who are Brampton residents will have free fares on Brampton Transit and free access to select Brampton Recreation drop-in programs, including swimming, skating and select sports from July 1 to September 5, 2022.

The City has 2,000 Explore Brampton Youth Passes available through this pilot program. Priority will be given to vulnerable youth. The pilot program aims to encourage youth to use public transit and recreation facilities in Brampton, laying the foundation for an active lifestyle and healthy habits.
