BRAMPTON, ON (April 7, 2022) – Celebrate Brampton’s diversity and break fast at the City of Brampton’s Community Iftar on Thursday, April 21 from 7 to 9 pm in City Hall.
Gather as a community to celebrate Ramadan with prayer, nasheeds and the breaking of evening fast.
The evening will include:
- Quranic recitation and translation by the Brampton Islamic Centre
- Family friendly entertainment including Turkish Ilahis and Whirling Dervishes
- Remarks from Mayor Brown and Members of Council
- Guest speakers from Ryerson University and Brampton Civic Hospital
- Evening prayer
- Iftar dinner, pre-packaged halal meals
