BRAMPTON, ON (March 31, 2022) – Potential 2022 Municipal and School Board Election candidates and third party advertisers are invited to join the City of Brampton at an information session on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 7 to 10 pm.
The information session, hosted in partnership with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, will be a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting held in the Council Chambers in Brampton City Hall.
The session will provide an overview of key requirements, including:
• Candidate and third party advertiser eligibility and responsibilities
• Nomination and registration process
• Campaign finances
• Key dates and resources
The session is open to anyone who is considering running as a candidate or registering as a third party advertiser in the Brampton 2022 Municipal and School Board Election. Registration for the information session is mandatory. To register attendance in-person or virtually via Webex, visit brampton.ca/bramptonvotes.

• Third party advertiser registration opens on May 2 and closes on October 21
