City of Brampton supports Rogers proposed $100M investment in and relocation to downtown

BRAMPTON, ON (January 27, 2022) – At its meeting yesterday, Brampton City Council approved a recommendation to support Rogers Communications’ relocation to Downtown Brampton.

Through the proposed new development, 3,000 employees would relocate to a 200,000 square foot space in the downtown. The new campus would consist of mixed office and retail space, with room for additional offices to be added in phases.

This strategic new location and investment will help spur a vibrant transit-oriented community and situate the new Rogers Brampton office at the centre of Canada’s Innovation Corridor, broadening both Rogers and Brampton’s access to talent. Additionally, the relocation of the Cybersecurity unit from the Rogers Brampton Campus to the Innovation District will bolster and strengthen the city’s position as a national leader in Cybersecurity.
