The City of Brampton is hosting a community kickoff event launching its “Where the Game Grows” campaign, celebrating Canadian national team players and alumni with roots in the city ahead of the excitement surrounding the 2026 World Cup.

Players scheduled to attend include Tajon Buchanan, Cyle Larin, Jonathan Osorio, Atiba Hutchinson, Doneil Henry, Paul Stalteri and Junior Hoilett. 

Members of the media will have the opportunity to hear remarks from Deputy Mayor Singh, council members and capture footage from the event. Media interview opportunities may be available.
