The City of Brampton will host a send-off event for Cricket Canada’s National Men’s Team ahead of their participation in the ICC T20 World Cup, taking place from February 7 to March 8, 2026, in India and Sri Lanka. All members of Cricket Canada’s National Men’s Team and coaching staff will be in attendance. ​

Members of the media will have the opportunity to hear remarks from Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton, Navjit Kaur Brar, Regional Councillor for Wards 2 and 6 and members of the Cricket Canada team, as well as capture footage from the event.
