The City of Brampton will host the finale of BramHacks 2025 Space Edition, a three-day city-led hackathon displaying innovation, creativity and collaboration in the growing space economy. Members of the media will have an opportunity to experience the next generation of innovators shaping Canada’s space and technology future, capture footage of the event and interview the winning team members.

BramHacks brings together more than 500 student innovators from across the GTA to design solutions using space technologies and data to build stronger, more sustainable communities.
The finale will feature judging, team pitches and the announcement of winners, with remarks from Regional Councillor Rowena Santos, Vice Chair, Economic Development Section, and a keynote by Mahfuz Chowdhury of the North American Space Institute (NASI).
Following the success of Thursday’s Space Day in Brampton, hosted by Canon Canada and featuring former Canadian astronaut Dr. Robert Thirsk and NordSpace CEO Rahul Goel, the City continues to highlight its leadership in Canada’s space and innovation economy through this weekend’s BramHacks 2025 finale and award presentation.
