We’re making improvements to Gage Park!
Brampton’s historic Gage Park is undergoing a revitalization with critical renovations to increase its functionality for all users to enjoy. Gage Park is a multi-functional park providing recreational opportunities and events all year long.
Beginning April 8, some areas of Gage Park will close to accommodate the renovations, which include:
- replacing the current ice pad
- various power upgrades to enhance the capacity and functionality of the electrical distribution system
- installing new refrigerant piping
- resurfacing existing walkways
- landscape irrigation throughout the park
Construction is anticipated to be completed by November 2024, in time for the 2024-2025 skating season.
During construction, the splash pad (weather permitting), playground and public restrooms will remain open to residents and visitors.
Annual events will be temporarily relocated to other community spaces in Brampton.
