Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in volunteering with the City? There are many ways you can get involved. To be a volunteer, there is a minimum age requirement of 14. Depending on the volunteer position you are looking at, additional qualifications may apply.

1. Fill out Volunteer Application + Waiver and "FORM A" Vulnerable Search
2. Hand in "FORM A" to one of following three Peel Regional Police Station locations:
- 22 Division (7750 Hurontario St.)
- Cassie Campbell Community Station (1050 Sandalwood Pkwy W)
- Springdale Community Station (51 Mountainash Drive Unit 6)
3. Hand in Volunteer Application/Waiver to any City of Brampton Recreation Facility
4. Once application is received and approved, you will be notified of upcoming volunteer opportunities available!

- Walk dogs
- Socialize with cats
- Driver animals (wild and domestic) to vet appointments and rehab centres
- Foster cats with kittens in your home
- Minimum 16 years of age

- Assists children learning dance
- Outgoing, enjoys working with children, previous dance experience

- Clean up of fitness centres
- Assist fitness staff as required

- Assist child care staff as required
- Assist children with activities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enjoys working with children of all ages
- Responsible and reliable

- Assist children/youth learn to skateboard/BMX
- Skateboarding or BMX experience
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Assist children learning to skate
- Preliminary level figure skating skills or 5 years of hockey or powerskating experience
| | Major Responsibilities:Vary depending on event, but we look for those who posess:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and patience

- Work with children/youth aged 6 to 14 years.
- Must be energetic, creative and enjoy interacting with children and youth
- Choose from a wide variety of programs, including arts and crafts, sports, music and more
