Building inspections are a critical part of the permitting process. They ensure that construction complies with the Ontario Building Code, zoning by-laws, and other applicable regulations.
Inspections take place between 8am and 4pm daily. The attendee should be on site between 8am and 4pm to conduct your building, plumbing or HVAC inspection on the day scheduled. Contact information must be provided for the Attendee. Please ensure the person designated as the attendee is familiar with construction and related terminology for the scope of work requested.
Inspections can only be booked Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Inspections are available to book for 5 days in advance. At 3pm each day, the next business day will no longer be available for booking on the portal. If you have successfully booked, you will receive an email at the end of the business day confirming the date of your inspection. If your permit has a revision, be sure to schedule the inspection on both the original permit and the revision.
