Arts Educator of the Year Award
Congratulations to the winner of the 2011 Arts Educator of the Year Award:

This award is presented annually to a Brampton Elementary or High School Educator (Teacher or Principal) who has contributed most significantly to their students' involvement in the arts. They are an advocate for the arts through their actions and have created opportunities for students to discover individual artistic potential. They see the value in teaching appreciation for the arts and they are actively helping to sustain its value and relevance in our local community. Despite cuts to music, drama, fine art and theatre programs, this individual has gone above the call of duty to elevate the importance of arts education for students.
The 3rd Annual Arts Educator of the Year Award will be presented at the Rose Theatre's Teacher Gala on May 15, 2012. The recipient will be contacted in advance.
The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2012
