If you have purchased a new home, the municipal address can be obtained by contacting the Building Division. Municipal addresses are not assigned until the plan in which the home is located has been registered (the lot “legally” exists).
PLEASE NOTE: Municipal addresses are assigned in a pre-approved sequencing and pattern to ensure that no delay is encountered by emergency services (ambulance, fire, police) who may be called to your home or business.
If you have an objection to a particular house number or combination of numbers, please do not purchase the home until the numbers have been assigned.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel have asked that you display your house number in a conspicuous, easily readable location as soon as you move in.
