Jump start your career with youth workshops


​Brampton, ON: Thinking of applying for a part-time or summer job with the City of Brampton? Register for a series of free workshops for young people interested in applying for part-time or seasonal jobs within the City.

These one-hour workshops will offer helpful information on the kinds of skills and experience necessary to students looking for employment. Topics such as: resume writing, interviewing skills and tips for job success will be offered to equip students to successfully navigate the pathway of securing their first job.

Workshops begin November 7 at Jim Archdekin, Earnscliffe and Chris Gibson Recreation Centres. 
 
Workshop #1: Skills and Expectations (14+ Years)

Earnscliffe – Wednesday, November 8, 2017 – 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Chris Gibson – Thursday, November 9, 2017 – 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
 
Workshop #2: Resume and Interview Preparation (14+ Years)

Earnscliffe – Wednesday, November 22, 2017 – 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Registration is limited to room capacity. Participants are required to attend all three sessions. Attendance at these workshops is not required to apply for employment with the City, nor do they guarantee a position with the City.
