Below you will find details of your upcoming in-person Sports Instructor Interview/Assessment. The date, time and location of your Interview/Assessment are included in the email you received.
Before Your Interview/Assessment:
- Ensure you email Filipe Lopes at Filipe.Lopes@brampton.ca your completed educational document(s) and/or certifications prior to the Interview/Assessment, or bring them with you at the time of the Interview/Assessment.
- Complete and submit the Candidate Disclosure Form to Filipe Lopes at Filipe.Lopes@brampton.ca prior to the Interview/Assessment, or bring with you at the time of the Interview/Assessment.
- Prepare for a behavioural and technical job related based Interview/Assessment by reviewing the Behavioural Based Interview/Assessment Guide.
- Please advise us if you require any accommodation due to a disability while conducting your Interview/Assessment.
- Review the COVID-19 Visitor Protocol prior to your appointment.
- Using one of the following skills listed below, come prepared with a lesson on how you would teach a 6 to 8 year old beginner group the skill you have chosen. Candidates will have 5 minutes to present and demonstrate this lesson to the group.
- Skills – basketball layup, soccer dribbling or badminton serving
- IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, do not attend our facility and contact Filipe Lopes as soon possible at 905.874.2865 x63280 to reschedule.
What to Bring to Your Interview/Assessment:
During Your Interview/Assessment:
- Please maintain a 2 metre distance from others while on City of Brampton premises.
- Candidates will be asked to leave the facility immediately upon completion of their Interview/Assessment.
