The Brampton Concert Band under the direction of Darryl Eaton is excited to invite you to a spectacular evening of music as we present “Heroes and Villains”. The sounds of the Concert Band will augmented by a fantastic lineup of guests as we broadly explore the theme in its many manifestations in life, history, nature, literature and art.
The concert will feature William Snodgrass (percussion) in “Flight of the Bumblebee”, Susan Zach (violin) in “Schindler’s List” and Julia Pulo (solo vocals) in a special arrangement of “I Believe” from the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics commissioned for this concert. James Faulkner (vocals, guitar) is specifically featured in “People Gotta Move”. The choirs of Fallingbrook and Tomken Road Middle Schools will perform in “I Believe” and “Defying Gravity” as part of our closing sequence that celebrates everyday heroes. The TMS choral group “Take Two” will also lend their voices to the evening.
With guests: Susan Zach, Julia Pulo, James Faulkner, William Snodgrass and the choirs of Fallingbrook and Tomken Road Middle Schools.
