Soldiers of Song: A Tribute to the Dumbells

Soldiers of Song: A Tribute to the Dumbells

Soldiers of Song combines theatre and music based on the original works of the Dumbells, a Canadian concert party that entertained the troops on the front line in World War I. Old comedy sketches and humorous war songs are brought to life, as storyteller Lorne Brown shares stories about his personal connection to the Dumbells. Their journey from Vimy to vaudeville is celebrated in this production directed by two-time JUNO Award nominee, Jason Wilson Band.
