Set in early 19th-century France, Les Misérables is the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption after serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his starving sister's child. The World Premiere Battuka Bhairava Nritya is an abstract choreography that takes Odissi Dance to another level and salutes all the great grandsires of the Odissi tree. The main event is Devraj’s Masterpiece ‘Nava Rasa’ (the Nine Moods).  All pieces are tributes to the Lord of Dance and Destroyer of the Universe!
