May 15, 2019
4 PM - 7 PM

Educators with students SK to Grade 12, principals, School Board staff and Parent Councils are invited to attend the FIRST LOOK at our 2019-2020 Arts Adventures Season!

New Format!

The event starts at 4 PM with a performance from one of our 2019 Centre Stage performers, Krish Khasnobish (St. Roch), followed by a short presentation of our upcoming education season. Enjoy a performance by one of next season's highlights, tap dancer Travis Knights.

Participate in a shortened version of one of our in-class workshops, and take advantage of advance class registration, networking with fellow teachers, and speaking to our staff. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Finishing off our afternoon of arts, education, and professional development, we encourage you to join our panel conversation:

Social Technology and Live Performance

Exploring how professional artists use social technologies to create, share, and produce live performance in Canada and how to integrate these tools into your classroom.

Carmen Spada, Musician, Artistic Director of World of Jazz Festival

Travis Knights, professional tap dancer

Jael Richardson, Author, Speaker, Artistic Director of the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD)

Afterwards, join us for an optional guided backstage tour of The Rose, featuring unique information about our venue's features and history, plus a chance to stand centre stage for a photo op! Everyone leaves with a swag bag from The Rose.
