Additional InformationAbout CODY HODGSON Drafted by the Vancouver Canucks 10th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Hodgson would make his NHL debut in February 2011. He has represented Canada on the world-stage three times, bringing home Gold for Canada twice: in the 2008 IIHF World U18 Championships and the 2009 World Junior Championships. He would spend over two years in the Canucks system before a surprise trade to Buffalo in 2012. In 2015, he signed a one-year contract with the Nashville Predators and in 2016 retired from the NHLAbout MAGGIE CONNORSGrowing up in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, she developed her game through youth hockey before playing NCAA D1 hockey at Princeton University, where she was among the team’s leading scorers. She began her professional career in 2024 after being drafted 62nd overall by the Toronto Sceptres in the inaugural PWHL Draft. Since joining the Sceptres, she’s contributed as a dynamic forward, recording goals and helping the team in both regular season and playoff action. In June 2025, she signed a one-year contract extension to remain with the Sceptres for the 2025-26 seasonAbout RENATA FASTRenata has been a member of the National Team since 2015. She won a gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and a silver medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games. She has seven medals from the IIHF World Championships – 3 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze. Formerly a member of the Toronto Furies of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL), Renata was a part of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) - an association comprised of the top 150 women’s hockey players who are dedicated to promoting and supporting the creations of a single, viable women’s professional league in North America. When the PWHL was launched, she was one of three players signed within the pre-draft period to the Toronto Sceptres. Renata is an active member in her community, helping coach and mentor minor hockey players.
