The Scott FireFit National Championships are coming to Brampton!
September 2 – 5, 2010
South Fletcher’s Sportsplex
500 Ray Lawson Boulevard (at McLaughlin Road)
What is FireFit? Only the most intense firefighter competition around.
More than 400 firefighters from across Canada will come together on Labour Day weekend for what’s been dubbed “the toughest two minutes in sports”.
Firefighters race against the clock – and each other – in individual and team competitions based on tasks commonly performed in emergency situations. In full fire combat gear, complete with breathing apparatus, they simulate five gruelling tasks, including a climb up a five-storey tower and rescuing a life-sized 175-pound “victim”.
Free admission. BBQ, beer garden (19+), vendors and fun for the whole family. For times and details, call 905.874.2700 or visit the FireFit Finals website by selecting the link below.

although we do encourage you to upgrade, if possible.
