The Brampton Grow Green Environmental Master Plan (EMP) is a comprehensive framework to improve Brampton’s environmental performance, including principles, goals, actions, metrics, and targets. First released in 2014, the EMP has been updated to highlight successes and challenges of creating a greener Brampton, and to include a refreshed Action Plan that will accelerate change.

The Brampton Grow Green EMP is organized around the core components of People, Air, Water, Land, Energy, and Waste, with actions, metrics, and targets identified for each.

Brampton Grow Green EMP is a living document that will grow and change with the City as its environmental priorities and goals evolve.​
