Artist Bio: Lee Brice, Headliner

With more than two decades in country music, Emerson Drive has become one of Canada’s most recognized country bands, earning multiple awards and chart-topping hits throughout their career. Known for fan favourites including Moments and I Should Be Sleeping, the band continues to deliver high-energy performances to audiences across North America.

As there is limited parking on site, residents are encouraged to walk, ride their bikes, or take public transit to the event.

Limited parking is available on site at a rate of $20 per vehicle, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Debit and Credit only, no cash will be accepted.

Did you know that a 10 km bike ride can easily be done within 40 minutes traveling at a leisurely pace of 15 km/hour. FREE Brampton Transit Shuttles

Residents are also encouraged to take advantage of the FREE Brampton Transit Shuttle Service from one of the following four locations:

• Mount Pleasant GO Station
• Trinity Common Mall
• Sheridan College
• Gore Meadows Community Centre

Firework Show Weather Notice

Please be advised that in order to ensure the safety of event attendees, the 10:00 PM firework show may be cancelled due to high wind speeds or unfavorable weather conditions. Be sure to check the City of Brampton Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts regularly for updates on the status of the firework show.​

Fireworks By-law

​The safety of residents is the City's top priority. Under the City of Brampton's Fireworks By-law, the use, purchase, discharge, posession, display, sale and offering of fireworks is prohibited, however sparklers are permitted. ​

Residents are invited to celebrate Canada Day, where they can enjoy a spectacular City-organized fireworks display in a safe environment. Although sparklers are permitted under the by-law, they are not allowed at the Canada Day event.

Rules and Guidelines

​For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following Rules and Guidelines will be in effect at all times during this event:​

1. All bags and containers are subject to search at any point during the event.
2. No unattended items may be left at security checkpoints or on the ground of the event.
3. The City of Brampton is not responsible for unattended, lost, or stolen items. Any items left at the Security checkpoint may be disposed.
4. By entering and attending this event, all participants are agreeing to abide by and adhere to these posted Rules and Guidelines, and further agree to comply with all and any instructions provided by City personnel and/or Peel Regional Police Officers.
5. Failure to comply with these Rules and Guidelines and any additional instructions provided by City personnel or Peel Regional Police Officers may result in entry being denied or expulsion from the event at any time.

​The following items are PROHIBITED and will be confiscated by Security or Police if discovered at any point. This list is not exhaustive, and prohibited items are subject to change. PROHIBITED items include:

• ​​Weapons and/or any sharp objects (deadly weapons, sharp objects, batons, tear gas, pepper spray, tasers)
  
• Illegal drugs/substances;
• Pocket knives (including box cutters);
• Self-Defense Sprays;
• Fireworks;
• Explosives;
• Large Chains;
• Drug Paraphernalia;
• Outside alcohol;
• Drones/RPAS;
• Laser Pointers;
• Air Horns/Noise Makers;
• Ski masks and/or any other means of disguise or items meant for concealing a person's identity, other than religious headwear, medical masks and face shields;
• Smoke bombs;
• Unauthorized promotional materials/solicitation; and
• Any other item deemed by event or security staff to pose a safety risk or negatively impact the event experience.
