The City of Brampton strives to be a vibrant, safe, and attractive City of opportunities where efficient services make it possible for families, individuals, and the business community to grow, prosper and enjoy a high quality of life.

We are proud to introduce the Resource Directory launched in March 2022 as part of the New Horizons grant received. The goal of the directory is to provide all Brampton residents, especially older adults, access to key resources at a click of a button to find services needed. The directory is categorized in twelve topic related themes to improve the user experience and make navigation easier.

The Age-Friendly Brampton Advisory Committee was established to lead the Age Friendly Strategy responding to the needs of the community. This Committee includes members of the public, citizens (i.e. older adults and youth representatives), and stakeholders such as City of Brampton and Region of Peel. The Committee aims to encompass all ages to ensure all Brampton citizens, at every age, have the necessary support and resources in place as they age.
